Easy Colour Fun for pre-school and early learning students.
Let kids imagine and create a world where objects and images are all the wrong colours! Encourage experimentation and oral language as they talk about their colour changes and what feelings the colour change evokes.
Have Fun, Learn and Be Creative with E-activity ideas.
Number 1:Story Retelling - what better way to incorporate the three language modes - visual. oral and written - than in a student re-tell of the story they have just read or listened to.
Using UMAJIN Creative to build a Pick a Path story is a
great way to combine Language, ICT and Creativity as well as encouraging
communication, problem solving and social and co-operative skills.Group planning and collaboration will flourish as
students work together to complete the various directions their story may take.
Every object in UMAJIN has a point of origin that can be
shifted . This is valuable for creating animations that need to work from a
different point on an object rather than its centre so that an action can work
from a pivot point
A windmill provides a good example of action working from a pivot point.
BLOG Easy draw - Need illustrations but can't draw?
Concerned about infringing copyright?
I Can't Draw!! We've all heard it a thousand times. Here is
a simple way to create a quick sketch that can give a cool graphical touch to
your document or presentation.UMAJIN
Creative provides you with an easy technique for tracing quick outlines of
kids, adults, animals or anything else you want to draw. A similar technique
can also be used to create basic cartoon type illustrations that can be used to
liven up pages and printouts.
Get confused about whether you are allowed to use photos and
don't have the money to pay royalty fees anyway? We all face confusion around copyright
infringements. This way you can use photos briefly to give you a model and then
use your own hand drawn image safely, with no concerns about copyright.
How creative do kids with special needs get when they are
working with computers?
Do they get enough time to actually make some stuff of their
own?
Are they spending most of their time on skill and drill
games and programmes that buzz and wink back at them - those spoon- fed noise
busters where kids click on anything and everything, just to get any sort of
response?
UMAJIN Creative will allow them to create - no matter how
simple they start off, they can learn to enjoy the process of making their very
own multi-media presentations and documents. They can progress to create their
own cards, documents, presentations, books, ebooks- whatever!
